Battery Backed SRAM Parts Catalog
Battery Backed Static Random-Access Memory is a form of high-speed SRAM that is backed up with a lithium battery in the chance of power failure. This will allow the memory to store data even without power. BBSRAM includes a self-contained control circuitry which monitors any fluctuations out of the tolerant zone. If such a condition occurs, the lithium battery in the memory will switch on, enabling the memory’s write protection in order to prevent any loss of data. BBSRAM is not limited to a number of write cycles. The data within the BBSRAM can be stored for several years by relying on battery power alone, but much longer when VCC is powered.
