Non Volatile SRAM Parts Catalog

Also known as NVSRAM is a type of static random-access memory that retains information even when power is turned off. Regular SRAM and DRAM only retain data for as long as power is supplied. The current market for non-volatile memory is dominated by battery-backed SRAMs, or BBSRAMs. NVSRAMs can read, write, store and recall, unlike the standard SRAM, which can only read and write. NVSRAM is not without faults, one of its drawbacks is that it can only withstand a certain amount of rewrites (around 100,000 for most consumer flash products), before the memory begins to deteriorate.
