PC Card Memory Parts Catalog

PC card was originally known as PCMCIA Card (Personal Computer Memory Card International Association Card). These are memory cards designed for laptop computers, but were superseded by Card Bus in 1995, followed by Express Card in 20013. These were originally designed for computer storage expansion, but later on many kinds of devices were being made available based on the form factor, such as modems, network cards, and hard disks. These were also used in early DSLR cameras. The PC card port has thus been superseded by the Express Card interface. Currently, some new vehicles from Honda have a PC card reader integrated into the audio system.
